I like colour, lines, letters, stories, life...

Colour, all my life... As far as I can remember, colours - especially those of nature :
a flower, water, cloud - arouse in me vivid emotions.

The line, letters and stories came to me later : when I  learnt how to write and discovered pictures,
as soon as I understood that thanks to them, I would have access to stories.
And that stories would acquaint me with the mysteries of life and of its ways.

Out of love for them, I spent the first fifty years of my life questioning, studying,
travelling, teaching... It was a joy for me to mingle with what I liked.
And as a stroke of good fortune never comes singly, I experienced - in addition - that of coming across people
who generously introduced me to the arts of threads and fabrics : embroidery, lace, sewing, weaving...

Enriched will all those treasures collected in the course of time, I am now able to create.

My sources of inspiration come largely from primeval or spiritual writings, starting from ancient Greece through
the Bible until today... As far as graphic arts are concerend, I draw my inspiration from traditional arts from all the cultures, from primitive painting, tapestry, mosaic, graphics, painting (Matisse)...
